Jack Lewin founded ACGI after his early retirement from GE (previously RCA) in early 1988. Based on his 35 years of experience in the design and operation of satellite systems at RCA Astro Space and GE (RCA) American Communications Inc. (AMERICOM), he selected from among his widespread contacts in the industry and NASA a group of world-class consultants to become the core of ACGI, specializing in the fields of communications, satellites, data processing, command & control, launch activities, and satellite operations .

ACGI was able to meet a growing demand for high quality specialists by selective recruitment until there is now a roster of over 100 specialists versed in virtually every discipline utilized in the management, design, manufacture and operation of satellite systems.

Jack Lewin maintains hands-on management of the company, personally assessing the needs of each client's project he is asked to staff, and selecting from among his roster those consultants most qualified to perform the assignment.

Mr. Lewin maintains a high standard of excellence among his staff to ensure that client satisfaction will be achieved on every assignment. Typically ACGI consultants have over 20 years experience in domestic and/or international aerospace programs. Their prior professional experience includes working at leading aerospace organizations including: Lockheed-Martin; Hughes; COMSAT; SS/Loral; INTELSAT, et al.
